For those young people who are struggling with controlling emotional outburst, Therapy Associates provides a program to specifically address their needs.  These issues can range from aggressive behavior in the home, at school, or in the community, those who are facing expulsion, to those who have been expelled from school, from young people needing a diversion program, to those who have been adjudicated for assault.

Anger Management Group Treatment - $25 per session/$300 total

This 12 week program is based on the SAMHSA cognitive behavioral model, which is an evidenced based intervention program. Issues addressed in treatment include:
 
-          Understanding the Anger Cycle
-          Conflict Resolution
-          Relaxation techniques
-          Assertiveness Skills
-          Anger Control Plans
-          Thinking Errors

Youth are also given weekly homework assignments designed to help them make positive changes.
