For those young people that are struggling with maladaptive sexual behavior, Therapy Associates provides programming to specifically address their treatment needs.  These issues can range from addiction to internet pornography to sexually acting out or even having been adjudicated for a sexual offense. 

Each young person's treatment needs are unique, but typically young people struggling with sexual maladaptive behavior would participate in weekly individual therapy, weekly group therapy and weekly psycho-education. This program includes three treatment phases and an after-care group and is specifically tailored to each young person's needs. Young people in this program are usually involved in the program between six to twelve months.

Our therapists working with these young people have received specialized training in the area of sexual maladaptive behavior, are affiliated with NOJOS and have attended ATSA trainings around the country to become experienced in this area of treatment.

Psychosexual Risk Assessment Includes:

-JSOAP II (Juvenile Sexual Offender Assessment Protocol)

-JCA (Juvenile Culpability Assessment)

-ERASOR (Estimate of Risk of Adolescent Sexual Offense Recidivism)

-Achenbach Child Behavior Checklist

-Clinical Interview with Youth

-Clinical Interview with Parent(s)

-Review of incident/police report(s)

Court Ordered NOJOS Level I & II treatment Includes:

-Three phases and After-Care.

-Weekly Group Therapy

-Weekly Individual Therapy

-Student Workbook

-Parent Workbook

-Regular Parent involvement in the Therapy.

-Regular updates to the Probation Department and the Court. 

Sexual Offenses Therapy Group is held every Thursday at 5pm.
