Matt Bulkley, LCSW

Matt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the area of counseling/treatment since 1995. He possesses a Bachelors degree in Special Education from
BYU and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Utah.
Matt's experience comes from a wide variety of settings. He worked as a teacher and counselor at Dixie Middle School for eight years with a focus on at-risk
teens. In addition to his work in the schools, he spent twelve years as a caseworker and therapist for the state of Utah DCFS in the St. George office where he became an expert
in the area of child welfare and family treatment.
In the private sector, has worked as a therapist in residential treatment settings, in psychiatric care settings and in a wilderness Therapy program working with
youth and their families.
Matt is the co-founder of Therapy Associates and the YPA Center. He has designed curriculums used in substance abuse treatment, sexual offenses
treatment and sexual dependency treatment. He is the author of the workbook Breaking Free: A Therapeutic Workbook for Youth Struggling with Pornography Addiction. When he is not
working, Matt enjoys weight training, running, biking and spending time with his wife and five children.

Kena Frey, LCSW

Kena is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adolescents, especially females, trauma issues, abuse and child play therapy.
Kena has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Utah and a Master of Social Work from Boston College.
Kena's expertise comes from experience in a variety of settings including working in the Boston Public school system, in wilderness therapy and in outpatient clinic work.
Kena is the co-founder of Therapy Associates and a nationally recognized wilderness therapist. She has presented workshops nationally on her work in the area of trauma
and abuse treatment. When Kena is not working, you may find her and her husband out camping, climbing or backpacking through the mountains together with their
two children.

Roger Nelson, LCSW

Roger is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has many years experience working in therapy with adolescents, adults, couples and families. He possesses a Bachelors degree in
Psychology and a Masters degree of Social Work both from the University of Utah. Roger has been working in the area of psychological treatment since 1992 in a variety of settings and brings
valuable experience to the clinical team. He has worked as a caseworker and therapist in residential settings for adolescents with substance abuse and sexual abuse issues, as an outpatient
therapist for adolescents, children, and their families, youth crisis center counselor, and as a DCFS caseworker in both Salt Lake City and St. George and most recently a wilderness treatment
therapist. Roger is known for being an expert in the area of Asperger's treatment and for working with young adults as well. When he is not working, Roger enjoys hiking,
camping, rock climbing, target shooting, and, most of all, spending time with his wife and four children.

Elizabeth Goble, APC

Elizabeth is a Certified Professional Counselor-Intern who has been working with children and families since 2005. She received her Bachelors degree from Southern Utah University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Early Childhood Development. She received her Masters degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Utah. Elizabeth’s experience includes Elementary Schools counseling, working with pre-school aged children with Pervasive Development Disorders, and working in private care settings with youth and families struggling with attachment disorders and victims of abuse. Elizabeth does excellent work in play therapy settings with younger children. Elizabeth enjoys spending time outdoors: hiking, fishing, boating, camping, and gardening, with her husband, her son, and their dog.

Dan Sanderson, Ph.D.
Dr. Dan Sanderson is a clinical psychologist who has been working in the area of psychological assessment and treatment for more than 25 years. He earned his doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Brigham Young University. He has performed hundreds of psychological evaluations and is an expert in the area of psychological assessment. He is a well-known clinician in the field of wilderness therapy and has many years of experience working in various areas of psychological assessment and treatment including forensics. Dr. Sanderson is the father of five children.
Dr. Sanderson provides psychological evaluations as part of the forensic services offered at Therapy Associates.
