Gary is a Licensed Substance Use Disorder Counselor with 10 years of experience. He enjoys working with adolescents and adults teaching them correct principles and life skills, so they can govern themselves finding peace, joy, and happiness. He uses Metaphoric Learning, Motivational Interviewing, The Stages of Change Model, and techniques for a balanced lifestyle. Thus, helping individuals and group members determine how to change problem behaviors.

 

Gary completed his two associate degrees at Ricks College and two bachelors degrees at Utah State University. He later attended University of Utah, completing the courses required to become a Licensed Substance Use Disorder Counselor.

Gary has dedicated his life to helping his family, foster children, friends, and neighbors. His first passion is spending time with his family. His second passion is his horses. He also enjoys camping, hiking, listening to good music, books, watching movies, and playing board games.
