Day Treatment (PHP-Partial Hospitalization)
What is Day Treatment?
In order to best serve the youth in Southern Utah, Therapy Associates offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for pre-teens and adolescents with mental health and behavioral disorders. These programs may be used as a step up from traditional outpatient therapy or as a step down from inpatient mental health or therapy programs. Many youth in Southern Utah have to travel to Northern Utah or Las Vegas for inpatient help. Day Treatment at Therapy Associates serves as a valuable resource for local youth that need intensive treatment services. Our day treatment program meets for six hours per day, five days per week allowing our clients the flexibility to slowly reintegrate back into their community in the evenings.
What is the typical schedule in Day Treatment?
Our mental health partial hospitalization programs provide an intense structure each day to support our clients as they slowly return to their community or begin their path in more intensive forms of therapy. We offer a variety of services to our day treatment program clients, which includes family therapy, group therapy, individual therapy, skills-building, medication management, recreational therapy, and process-based and psycho-educational group therapies. These therapies are used to help our clients achieve or maintain their optimal level of functioning in their social, academic, vocational, interpersonal, and personal lives.
