Adoption Home Studies

Adopting a child involves a court process and a home study report is typically required by the court overseeing the adoption and approving the adoption.  Therapy Associates clinicians have training and experience in conducting home studies for potential adoptive parents.  This process consists of in-office interviews, home visits and a written court report.

Many adoptions require both a pre-adoptive and post adoptive home study report. Therapy Associates clinicians can streamline this process for adoptive parents and provide all the necessary reports to attorneys and the courts to ensure a smooth adoption process.

The cost of the evaluations vary depending on the time needed to conduct the evaluations, but generally range between $150-$450.
