Matt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the area of counseling/treatment since 1995. He possesses a Bachelors degree in Special Education from BYU and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Utah.  Matt's experience comes from a wide variety of settings.  He worked as a teacher and counselor at Dixie Middle School for eight years with a focus on at-risk teens.  In addition to his work in the schools, he spent twelve years as a caseworker and therapist for the state of Utah DCFS in the St. George office where he became an expert in the area of child welfare and family treatment.  In the private sector, has worked as a therapist in residential treatment settings, in psychiatric care settings and in a wilderness Therapy program working with youth and their families.
